If you are searching for the most effective and comprehensive GRE preparation resources, look no further than the standardized test prep professionals at Manhattan Review. When it comes to learning complex test-related information, many students enjoy studying in classroom-style groups, finding their peers' questions and comments informative and helpful. Other students, however, know that they do not perform at their best when attempting to learn new information in a group setting. They may find themselves distracted by others or anxious about working at a slower pace than everyone around them. Alternatively, these students may feel bored or frustrated when they cannot move on from a lesson or concept until everyone in the group can demonstrate similar mastery. If you know you learn best through customized instruction where you set the pace, we encourage you to find out more about the private tutoring options available through Manhattan Review.

GRE Prep Course Oslo - Photo of Student Sophia

I wanted to thank you for helping me with the GRE prep and let you know that your teaching tactics worked! I took the exam yesterday and got an 800 on the math, 570 on the verbal and who knows about the writing but hopefully it's not below a 4! The verbal is tricky with those silly words but I am happy with my score and ready to walk away from this ETS madness. Thanks again and all the best!

Meet an Oslo GRE Tutor: Faida G.

Faida G. grew up in Reykjavik and discovered a passion for stories and writing at an early age. She worked hard in school and earned high grades which, combined with an impressive SAT score, gained her admittance to the University of Oxford. During her undergrad, she majored in language arts while also working part-time as an English grammar and writing tutor. Intent on obtaining a graduate degree, Faida prepared diligently for the GRE by working with a private tutor. Her hard work was rewarded with an impressively high score, and Faida obtained a master's degree in education specializing in language arts from Johns Hopkins University.

After graduating, Faida happily accepted a position as an English and literacies instructor at a respected international school in Oslo. While she loved teaching classes, she also hoped to find ways to support students seeking their own advanced academic degrees. When a rare position for an experienced tutor opened up at the Oslo Manhattan Review office, Faida applied and was quickly welcome to the team. Students praise her strong analytical writing and verbal reasoning skills, and there is regularly a waitlist to work with her. When she isn't guiding future graduate students to their own impressive GRE scores, Faida can be found crocheting and listening to her record collection.
