I took the GMAT yesterday and got......680 (unofficial score). Needless to say I am delighted, if somewhat stunned. I never thought I'd score 100 points higher than last time around. My maths improved the most (from 32nd percentile to 56th percentile) and I was in the 95th percentile in my verbal. If I'd had a few more weeks I'm sure I could have improved my maths score even more, but I'm happy with 680. Thanks for all your help and the excellent classes. They really were invaluable and worth every minute.

Meet an Oslo Tutor: Jacob H.
Jakob H. was born and raised in Oslo but moved to the US for college after being accepted at the University of Southern California. Hoping to pursue a career as a professional educator, he majored in English. Jakob then attended Johns Hopkins University where he obtained a master's degree in education and worked as a tutor for four semesters. After graduating, he accepted a position in the Baltimore public school system, teaching algebra, statistics, and pre-calculus. A few years later, Jakob was offered a position at a private school in Oslo, and he happily accepted, eager to move closer to family. After Manhattan Review opened an office in the city, Jakob soon joined the team as a professional instructor.
Jakob has extensive first-hand experience with a variety of standardized tests, and he knows how to help students master the content and test-taking strategies they need to ensure their own academic success. Students appreciate his positive personality as much as his strong analytical skills, and Jakob's courses fill up as soon as they are announced. When he isn't helping students achieve their own impressive test scores, Jakob can be found kayaking the Norwegian fjords and hiking around Lake Sognsvann with his wife.
